 GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH...
Halloween STYLE
the Lion Tamer, Clown, Lion, Gypsy, and WORLD'S strongest man

The performers getting ready to hit the streets for some CANDY

Circus business is hard work... 3 tired boys!
This year Wes and I hosted our 2nd annual Halloween party.  We incorporate a theme into our party ...  Last year we were a family of pirates and Perry was our parrot!  This year we went with the Circus theme and we embraced every aspect.  We turned our garage into a big top, popped popcorn, face painted, enjoyed duck pond games, ring toss games, side walk chalk, bubbles,  potato sack racing, pumpkin decorating/chunkin', and the crowd favorite -ELEPHANT JUMPY.  I enjoy throwing parties and this year was no exception.  I wanted every detail CIRU-LICIOUS!  I think I was able to do just that and everyone had a ball!  Our guests list included:  buzz light year, woody, a cow, dinosaur, lion, owl, Elmo, Cat and the Hat, Rapunzel, an angel, a cat, a ninja turtle, a sock monkey, bumble bee, a spider, and safari family.  (I think that was everyone)  Of course there were many duds this year that chose not to join in the costume fun... i.e.my next door neighbor.  I will not call any names... but YOU know who you are!  I will give them 1 more chance with an invite next year to redeem themselves.  Overall it was a wonderful day with incredible weather.  We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to over EAT, chunk pumpkins, visit with friends, and soak up these precious memories!  I want my boys to look back at pictures and remember what an awesome time we had each year.  I want them to see the lengths their parents went to look like total "idiots" to make them smile.  These are the times of our lives... I just wish they would slow down!

Spider obsessed?

Can I have ice cream since P pulled my hair out?

Where is your hanitizer? (hand sanitizer)

My chair smells like butt.

How'd you get that cut on your eye? - mom
That's how God made me! - York

Go slow mommy because this isn't a interstate.

Get out of town, dad!

I love new baby.

York was killing spiders And I told him "poor spider family!". And he said He was a lost spider looking for a girl to eat ...so he doesn't have a family and He saved the girl!

I made a patterin. (pattern)

Perry was screaming and he looked over at Tascha and replied...
We are working on our social skills.

I'm trying to toughen him up.

At beach:  that's God moving me in the water! (ie waves)

While singing itsy bitsy spider York points out that once the spider is in fact "washed away" ... He would NOT be able to climb up the spout again. Because he'd be dead!

Mom... Why is he loosing his mind? (rams crying)

God is mighty because he is big!!

As York hugged me this am... He looks up and simply said "because you have gotten so small and I can hug you good -your not my boss anymore"

There are a couple of people in my class as cool as me...

Why did you throw that? - mom
Because I live sports- York

As he put on a head lamp he comes over to me and asks if he can check me for critters... (too much turtle man perhaps?) as he is looking on my arms and legs he gets to my hair and says this is a good place for spiders to hide but your clear!

That day my tummy hurt-ed... There were monsters in me.

I don't want real food! I want pretend food!!!

That's OUR Tascha

We said goodbye to an amazing friend Sunday as she pursues a different life path.  We took quickly to Ms. Tascha with her kind heart and patient ways. Her love for my boys became evident in the early weeks of her employment.  Soon thereafter our work relationship blossomed into an amazing friendship and bond.  She spoke to, held, and taught my children as her own.  She has a gentle and appropriate way of handling any situation these wild Indians threw her way.... as if she had been a mother for years. She is a born nurturer,  a phenomenal woman of God, amazing wife, sister, daughter and much more.  She gave my family more in the 9 months she spent here than I can ever express in words. She came to our home each morning wearing a sweet smile, genuinely excited for what the day held with my most prizes possessions.  She tackled the craziness like a pro and never once raised her voice. She is a gem. A rare jewel you don't find ... and we had the opportunity to spend 39 weeks with her.  On an average day, I overheard her teaching letters, numbers or shapes followed with praise and encouragement. She was their personal cheerleader.  In the next breath she would tell of the wonderful ways of our savior and how much he loves them. Wow! I can't explain the joy and fullness my heart felt each time I witness the exchange. What else could a mother ask for??  She is irreplaceable and hopefully a friend for life.  Her and her husband made marks on our hearts and we will always cherish the memories and moments together.  We hope to keep in touch as they embark on a life as missionaries and support them in every way possible.  We wish them a life time of happiness and fulfillment. Tascha- we love you more than you know and appreciate your time and dedication to our family. We miss you desperately.

Lord, thank you for sending us one of your angels!  Thank you for allowing us to meet one of your best soldiers. Bless Jeff and Tascha's future and each step along the way.  Help them to spread your word with ease and conviction. Give them the confidence and knowledge necessary to fulfill your master plan.  Protect them on their journey and return them to the family and friends that love them. Amen

Playing Catch up

My sister got married on August 4th!
The boys were in the wedding and did an excellent job.  York was the ring bearer and Perry carried a flag. ((the flag didn't actually make it down the isle but that's a technicality!))
I ordered the boys these shirts...
"I'm the Ringman!"

"I'm the ringman's WINGMAN"

My sister, her new step-daughter Hollee, and the boys

The only pic I have of us together before she tied the knot!  Please excuse my 2 week postpartum "glow"... aka Spray Tan!  Wes said I looked like an oompa loompa!  thx hun!

Brad (the groom) Sissy (the Bride) Hollee (flower girl)

Uncle Brad is great with the boys...

Both of them
I wish I had more pictures of the weekend but traveling with a 2 week old, 19 month old, and 3 year old made it difficult.  We had a quick trip to Montgomery to witness a beautiful wedding (kudos to mom for putting it ALL together) and spend some time with my parents.  I will have to admit I was a bit out of it and hated that I couldn't participate more in the festivities.  Oh well... they probably didn't want to see my amazing dance moves anyway!  ha!  My sissy is a married woman with a new hubby and precious little girl.  I wish her all the best as a wife and mom!  (Wowzers... that is alot to take on -but if anyone can handle it -she's the Gal!)  I'm thrilled to become an aunt for the first time and welcome Hollee to our family.  Finally a GIRL to spoil!  I pray for my sister's patience, strength, and attitude as she faces new challenges and incredible love.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. J... may you have a long and happy marriage with God your rock.

Little Baby

Sweet Ramsay is 1 month old!  Those 4 weeks flew by... I have said that before but with 3 children the hours and minutes are passing at record time.  "Little Baby", H3, Ram ba bam, new baby, Rams-i-o, or Rams are just a few of the nicknames given to our youngest.  He is an absolute sweetheart and his brothers are completely smitten.  Perry is constantly asking "where Ba-bi" and looking through the house for him.  I have told him over and over be "gentle"...so each time he comes over to  he says "yen-tal"!!  It is precious.  His love for his brother is visible as he looks over him with big smiles.  York loves to hold his hand and call him "new baby".  (ie "I love new baby" -York)  He talks about how little his toes and fingers are and how he didn't know he would be so small.  He says that he is a precious baby and he asks to hold him often.  They are wonderful help and I couldn't be a more proud momma.  He is surrounded by so much LOVE and I hope he can feel it through the occasional head butt, eye poke, paci shoved to back of throat, or hard "petting".  Ramsay fits in perfectly with this crazy brood and has braved the park, many restaurants, church, Sunday school, trip to Montgomery, the pool, etc.  We are on the go and he LOVES it.  Below are some pictures of sweet man at 10 days old.  He is a wonderful blessing...

Thomas Ramsay Harless you are a gift, a precious miracle, and the perfect addition to our family.  Thank you for your sweet nature, beautiful smile, and amazing heart.  You fill my heart to its brim... I can't imagine life without you.  My little baby... always.
