War Eagle...

So we are heading to Auburn tomorrow at lunch! The ENTIRE family... Wesley, me, Baby H, and Baby Shug. This will be Baby H's first trip to the plains! I can't wait for him to hear all of the traditional cheers, the amazing Auburn marching band, and the roar of the crowd as we score on the opening drive. He has no choice but to be a future TIGER! (sorry Rafe)

I can not WAIT to see my sister and little brother... it has been too long. I hope they are enjoying Auburn as much as Wesley and I did. The traditions (tiger walk, rolling toomers, Aubie, A-Day, toomers lemonade, etc), no responsibility, asking Dad for more MONEY, late night Willies or Krystal, all day tailgating, no job, no cares, no worries -except what you were going to wear, late nights with friends, skipping school, and the list goes on! What a wonderful time to think back on... I hope they embrace these 4 years with great friends, memories, and hopefully a DIPLOMA!

It's a BOY!

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.”

Baby Harless!

Wes was right all along... A PERFECT baby BOY! It was an amazing moment seeing the little guy move across the screen. Janey and my mom joined us in the room as we uncovered the mystery of Baby H's gender. He has the sweetest face, perfectly formed arms and legs, and a hard to miss private area! At 18 weeks, our little guy weighs 9 ounces and is measuring 4 days ahead of our due date. So he may come on my Birthday... I can't imagine a more perfect gift. God is so great... we can not thank him enough. I have gained 10 pounds and am in our 5th month. Boy, how tiime FLIES! (no pun intended) Thanks to everyone for the sweet messages and continued prayers. I am in full MOMMA mode and can't wait to have the room ready and everything perfect for Baby Harless.

Pregnancy 16 Weeks...

Wes and I went to the doctor on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. We heard Baby H's heartbeat for the first time... it was so amazing! Dr. Hancock said that it sounded 'strong and healthy'. Our next appointment is August 25th at 10:20am and we have invited my mom and Wesley's mom to come and be apart of finding out the gender!

Of course, if you talk with Wes he will tell you that it is a little boy! I am not sure... I guess we wont have to wait much longer. It is hard imagining that in 4 1/2 months we will have a son or daughter. I have no real feeling either way... I just pray each day for a healthy little one.

The weeks continue on and the little miracle inside of you becomes more present. Yesterday I felt Baby H move for the first time!! It was so strange... in a good way. It was on the right side of my tummy and felt like a little thump. It happened twice as I drove home from work. I look forward to more movement.

Pregnancy 15 Weeks...

I am finally over the hump! This week has been the first of the preganancy that I have felt great! I am even back to running! I am begining to feel like myself again. Wesley has been such a sweetheart. He is so attentive and accomodating. We bought a book for Wes called "Daddy's pregnant TOO!" He has begun reading and is understanding more about my many mood swings and weird cravings/ aversions. I am very lucky to have a husband who enters each day of the preganacy so positive and excited.

We have begun discussing baby names but haven't agreed on just one girl/boy name. We have our next visit on Tuesday and will MAYBE find out the gender. If we do then we will make a decision on a name. It is so hard trying to find a name without meeting the little one. We will more than likely go with a family name because that is important to Wes and I.

I have gained a total of 2 pounds so far and no longer have a discernable waist line. I have been maternity shopping once but was unable to find anything that would work this soon. I know that will come in time.. so I will hold off until then. This is an exciting journey and am glad that our family is so involved.

We're PREGNANT!

We found out on May 30, 2008... After 3 positive test and an extatic Wesley, we began calling family to spread the good news. We only wanted close family to know because it was so early... but I think my mom told most of Montgomery by the end of the day. I called my doctor on Monday morning to get an appointment and NATURALLY she was on vacation for the next 2 weeks. After the longest 2 weeks of my life... we went in for our first visit on June 10, 2008! We were 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. We had an ultrasound, blood work, and other routine tests.

It was CONFIRMED there is a REAL baby growing inside of me. It really didn't hit me until we saw Baby H on the screen. It was a very exciting day and although the ALL-DAY sickness was getting worse we were thrilled.

Our next visit with Dr. Hancock was July 8, 2008. We were 11 weeks and 2 days and the sickness was out of control. She decided to try and hear Baby H's heartbeat with the doppler. Unfortunately, we were unable to hear the little one and went to have our second ultrasound. It was amazing to see how much has changed in four short weeks. Baby H actually looked like a baby... A head, tummy, and legs were present. Baby H is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

It is an absolute miracle and blessing from God! Life is good.
