Hangin' in there...

York has been enjoying the Fall weather on his swing!Mae-Mae LOVE!
These pix capture York's animated little personality...
He was "calling" Da-Da and was talking up a storm!!
Happy Halloween!!
Still haven't forgotten about our mower!

As you can see... York hasn't skipped a beat with all of the hoopla going on around here. My mom has been here since Tuesday to take care of my sweet boy and he is loving it! He doesn't even notice ME when she is around. They are playing 24/7 and he is wearing her slap out! Mom is watching him all day, checking on me (making me STAY in bed), and cooking dinner for us at night. She is our maid, chef, nanny, etc and is absolutely amazing at each one! I can not thank her enough for her hours spent away from home/hubby/work. She is a precious gift that I am so lucky to have. Mom... you are one in a million and each minute we spend with you and memory made will be cherished forever. Thanks for putting your life on hold to help take care of ours!

UPDATE on "P"...

We made one more trip to Labor and Delivery on Wednesday night because I was having some other issues on top of the non stop contractions. I called my doc and she said to immediately return to L&D. So mom put the Chili on hold and packed us up to meet Wes at the hospital. We were put on a monitor that showed my contractions were not letting up with the medication so they decided to admit me for the night. After 15 hours of observation and 4 Brethine shots later we were discharged with another prescription and restless hearts. Because my contractions are "breaking" through the medication they are worried that at any moment I will dilate. Fortunately.. that is not the case so far. It is a very delicate situation and the only way to be sure is to go and get checked (FUN!). We are trying to prevent a repeat of a stressful labor and NICU stay. I'm 35 weeks 3 days which is a full week past York's date and that gives us wonderful peace. We know he is over 5 pounds and doing wonderfully but our goal is to keep him hanging on for another week at least. THE PLAN: Continue the meds/bed rest, see Doc on Tuesday for last shot! The shot is designed to stay in your system for 7 days so it will get us to Nov. 9... 37 weeks! At that point we will not try and stop Mr. Perry from joining our family! I am taking each day at a time... knowing that every minute assures us a healthier little man! God is so GOOD! Love you all and appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers this far... they are the only thing getting us through!

Praying Perry stays put just a little longer! I know that's stressful for you. On a semi-related note: Does York watch "Phineas and Ferb?" Because every time I read your blog, I think about that show and their pet named Perry. It cracks me up and I love it because they way they say "Perry" is adorable! Hope all is well!
